India won the Cuttack ODI against England by 15 runs. It saw two veteran Indian cricketers – Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni – score tons to give India a 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. It was Team India’s fifth consecutive ODI series win against England at home. It was a memorable match for MS Dhoni as he achieved some personal milestones.
During his knock of 134 against England at Cuttack, MS Dhoni crossed the 4000-run mark in ODIs at home. He now has 4125 runs at an average of 58.92 in 100 innings at home. He is the second Indian cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar to score 4000 ODI runs at home.
Sachin has scored 6976 runs @ 48.11 in 160 innings at home.
Dhoni also took his tally of sixes in ODIs to 203, the fourth best in 50-overs format.
